Vestax DJ Carl Cox PMC-CX Signature DJ Mixer with acclaimed PCV crossfader
Vestax, in collaboration with DJ Carl Cox*, has created the PMC-CX Carl Cox Signature Mixer. Designed with functionality as specified by Carl Cox, the PMC-CX is a 19" rack-mount, 3-channel mixer featuring a 7-segment LED level indicator and 3-band Isolator (with oversized knobs for better control) on all channels, a master output VU meter, plus an array of I/O options.

A Matrix Input assign function allows the DJ to assign an input source to any or all channels. Each channel (PGM) has a dedicated filter effect section with high pass, low pass and notch filter, plus a filter sweep (designated by a red knob). The input matrix and filter section can be used in conjunction with each other to create real-time effects that are difficult to achieve on most other ?traditional? DJ mixers.

The output section includes a 3-band Isolator (including antiphase) on the master output, for complete control over an entire mix. In addition to input level attenuation on each channel, separate attenuation is provided on the master outputs, which allows club owners to set a pre-determined level. XLR Mic In and 1/4" Mic In are provided, as well as three master balanced/unbalanced XLR and 1/4" outputs.

The PMC-CX also includes Vestax's acclaimed PCV crossfader, which features a solid feel and effortless operation. Sweepable crossfader curve settings are included to fit long- or short-throw mixing styles. The crossfader is field-replaceable for zero downtime.

Standard faders can be replaced with optional rotary knobs.
